EU Consent at the University of Edinburgh
The EU Consent Network
The University of Edinburgh is an active member of the EU Consent Network of Excellence for joint research and teaching on the construction of a new Europe.
EU Consent - Wider Europe, deeper Integration 'Constructing Europe' Network was launched in 2005 - an EU-funded four year research project that brings together over 50 partners from universities and research institutions across Europe to realise two main objectives:
-
To evaluate contrasting integration scenarios that may emerge in the Europe of the future - which seem more likely or more acceptable?
-
To develop a sustainable, comprehensive and open network of research with links to political and administrative decision makers at the European and national level.
