Contemporary Middle East Series

Contemporary Middle East Series, sponsored by PIR, hopes to bring together expertise on Middle East from PIR, the School of Social and Political Science and wider network of scholars.

The series will include around 5-6 events in 2018/19, varying from events featuring colleague’s research, or an invited expert on a topic, or Briefing Roundtables representing different expert perspective on a specific conflict or event,  film screenings, and workshops linked to significant events or anniversaries.

Coming in 2019/20:

‘Justice for Some. Law and the Question of Palestine’ A conversation with Noura Erakat (George Mason University). Contact: nicola.perugini@ed.ac.uk
