Open To All PhD Students in Politics/IR
Professor Ben Rosamond, Head of Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Warwick is coming to Edinburgh to lead a PhD workshop entitled 'The role of ideas in political analysis'.This will take place in Seminar room 5, CMB, from 3-5, Friday 13 November.
PhD students from throughout Scotland have been invited to this event which will be followed by a short reception.
Professor Rosamond is also willing to read short pieces of our PhD students' work and / or discuss the research frameworks developed by students who are applying an ideational approach in their research (social constructivism, ideational institutionalism, etc.).This applies to students at all stages of their PhD work (year 1 and up). You should contact David Howarth (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in meeting Professor Rosmond and if you are interested in sending him work in advance (send this by 6 November).Meetings will take place on Friday morning.
