Post indyref there are calls for a constitutional convention led by citizens. What can we learn from success and failure of similar ideas in Canada, Ireland and Iceland? The Academy of Government and ERS Scotland invite you to hear from Jordan Kroll, who conducted a review of such citizens’ assemblies as part of her work for the Master of Public Policy at the University of Edinburgh. After the presentation, we will discuss how Scotland and the UK might take forward citizen involvement in constitutional decisions.

Everyone with an interest in the topic is welcome, but places are very limited, book yours here. There will be tea/coffee from 4.30pm and a wine reception afterwards. Oliver Escobar will introduce & facilitate the event.
