The roundtable, supported by the Europa Institute, the School of Social and Political Science, and the College of Humanities and Social Science, brings together academics, policy-makers and financial market participants for a debate on patient capital. The roundtable, featuring speakers with a wide range of viewpoints, responds to the urgent need to better understand the nature of patient capital in the context of rising concerns over increased financial market short-termism. Among the panelists are speakers from the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and the Irish Debt Management Agency.
