This event is funded as part of the Europa Institute Seminar Series "The EU, Climate Change and Global Environmental Governance".  This series will examine the EU need to consider seriously the possibility of a change in US climate change policy following the US presidential election of November 2008.  Ongoing international negotiations over a replacement for the Kyoto protocol on climate change provide the opportunity for a possible transatlantic compromise on climate change.
