The idea is to review the main dimensions of the contemporary US-UK relationship: defence and intelligence cooperation, cultural ties, economic links, leader relations, public opinion, and the expectation of cooperation. The relationship will be evaluated in the context of the US presidential contest, changing US-Western European relations and current debates about increasing imbalance in an already imbalanced relationship.
