Squiz Matrix session SQ_SYSTEM_SESSION A unique identifier that represents the browser When you close the browser Only affects staff, students and other designated users who are logged into the site via the content management system (CMS). It allows users to remain logged in. It tells the CMS where to find the session file which stores your user ID. If you are not logged in, the session will store nothing except that you are not logged in.

Squiz Matrix session

Cookie name: SQ_SYSTEM_SESSION. It stores a unique identifier that represents the browser. Expires when you close the browser.
