Dr Dominic Johnson wins prestigious book prize

Dominic Johnson has been awarded (along with Dominic Tierney) the International Studies Association’s annual prize for the best book on international studies for their work ‘Failing to Win’ (Harvard University Press, 2006).

Their winning entry, ‘Failing to Win:  Perceptions of Victory and Defeat in International Politics’, was published by Harvard University Press in 2006 (details at  http://www.isanet.org/bookawards/2007/05/best_book_award.html). 

Dominic’s next project, on the role of religion in cooperation and conflict, has attracted funding from the Templeton Foundation and will involve two years of collaborative work between researchers based at Edinburgh, Queen's Belfast and four universities in the USA.
