Environmental Justice specialist Dr Elizabeth Cripps joins Edinburgh Politics/ IR

Elizabeth Cripps works on environmental justice, with a particular focus on collective responsibility.

She recently completed her PhD, "Individuals, Society and the World: A Defence of Collective Environmental Duties", at University College London.  She joins Edinburgh Politics and IR after working as a part time teaching fellow in political philosophy at UCL.

Elizabeth has an MPhil in Philosophy, also from UCL, and a BA Hons in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from St John’s College Oxford. She joined UCL after spending four years as a reporter, writer and editor at Financial Times Business, and has worked as a freelance journalist for a range of other publications, including The Guardian.
