UoE Students make UNA, UK Youth Council 2013-14
International Relations students from the University of Edinburgh were recently elected as President and Vice-President of United Nations Association Youth, UK
Apurv Gupta and Gabriela Lomeu Campos, both first year students at the University of Edinburgh, were recently elected as President and Vice-President of United Nations Association Youth, United Kingdom after winning nationwide youth elections in May 2013. They are responsible for managing and coordinating activities related to the work of the United Nations among more than 45 UNA Youth branches across the UK and represent, the growing, 7 million UK youth population.
The students at the University of Edinburgh played a vital role in the election campaign and the ‘geography’ of the results observed a considerable portion of votes from the city of Edinburgh.
