PIR students chosen to present at Clinton Global Initiative Event

Five students from our MSc in Global Environment, Politics and Society programme are headed to an international meeting with President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton this April. They are part of an Edinburgh team of 12. They’ll  join over 1,000 students from around the world at the University of California, Berkeley participating in the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U).  The Clinton Global Initiative brings together university students to address global challenges with practical, innovative solutions.  They  were chosen on the basis of projects they designed to address environment and development challenges. They’ll be joined by CGI Academic Mentor Prof Elizabeth Bomberg (PIR and Deputy Director of Global Environment and Society Academy). Find out more about their projects, and follow their participation here: Pachamama Edinburgh
