Commission on Parliamentary Reform Report features SPS experts
PIR and Public Policy experts contributed research to the report and expertise and to key meetings
The Commission on Parliamentary Reform has just published its report, which argues that there is considerable room for improving the quality of scrutiny, deliberation and participation at the Scottish Parliament. Accordingly, it suggests a wide range of reforms to improve its internal processes and place deliberative quality and public engagement at the heart of the institution.
PIR staff (Oliver Escobar, Nicola McEwen), and Public Policy graduates (Samir Lee) contributed important knowledge and research to the report and proceedings. In particular, Dr Escobar's research is featured on pp. 63-65 of the report, which is available here.
