Edinburgh undergrad publishes in leading academic journal
One of Edinburgh Politics and IR’s former undergraduates, Anna Davidson, has recently published an article – originally written during her 3rd year for the honours course ‘Political Theory of European Integration’ – in a high-quality, refereed journal: the ‘Journal of Contemporary European Research’.
Anna Davidson, a recent graduate of Edinburgh Politics and IR, has recently published work that she originally developed in an undergraduate essay. Anna’s article is entitled ‘Through Thick and Thin: “European Identification” for a Justified and Legitimate European Union’. It was recently published, following peer review, in the ‘Journal of Contemporary European Research’ (4/1, 2008; details at: http://www.jcer.net/ojs/index.php/jcer ). Edinburgh’s Dr Lynn Dobson, who teaches the undergraduate course ‘Political Theory and European integration’, for which the essay was originally written, commented: ‘A really marvellous attainment, and a great lesson to our students on what they can achieve if they take their studies seriously, and get on with them’.
