New Sir Bernard Crick Fellowships created

Edinburgh Politics & IR are very pleased to announce the creation of two annual Sir Bernard Crick Fellowships, whose aim is to reward and assist outstanding applicants to our PhD programme

Sir Bernard, who is an Emeritus Fellow in the department, has tirelessly contributed to the study and practice of politics for more than fifty years, and helped countless numbers of students along the way. In 2008-09, the Sir Bernard Crick Fellows will be Daniel Kenealy, and Katya Braginskaia. Dan will be starting a PhD with us in September, on European integration, while Katya will be conducting research on Muslim communities in Paris, London and Moscow. All future applicants to our PhD programme will be considered for these fellowship. For more information, contact our Postgraduate Convenor, Prof Cecile Fabre:
