1st Year International Relations Student Awarded Essay Prize
Oxford University Press Baylis and Smith Prize1st year International Relations student Lisa Lange has been awarded the Oxford University Press Baylis and Smith prize.
Founded in 2005, the Baylis and Smith prize was established to celebrate the continuing success of The Globalization of World Politics and to reward outstanding first year politics and international relations students. The prize - £100 worth of Oxford University Press books - is awarded to the student judged to have written the best first year essay on international politics.
Lisa's essay was entitled 'Has The War On Terrorism Made Sovereignty Obsolete?' and was submitted as an assignment for the course Introduction to Politics and International Relations.
