Juliet Kaarbo gives evidence at the House of Commons
Commons committee considering the foreign policy implications of and for an independent Scotland
Dr Juliet Kaarbo, Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations, has given evidence to the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee on The Foreign Policy Implications of and for a Separate Scotland.
Dr Kaarbo was asked to provide advice to the committee on 15 January 2013. MP's questioned Dr Kaarbo about the foreign policy of small states and the potential opportunities and constraints an independent Scotland might face. She also addressed the implications of independence for the international standing of the United Kingdom.
