IASH launches new genderEd resource
Exciting new site for students, scholars, and teachers
genderED is a digital hub that showcases excellence in teaching, research and KEI in gender and sexuality studies across the College and beyond. It is led by SPS, directed by PIR’s own Fiona Mackay, and hosted by IASH.
The idea behind genderED is to create a virtual space to showcase excellence in teaching, research and KEI in gender and sexuality studies at University of Edinburgh, and to promote connectivity and interdisciplinarity. At its core, genderED is a set of directories and a collection of resources, bringing together information on gender and sexuality courses, researchers, research and KE projects, networks and research groups, blogs and social media, activities and events from across the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) and beyond. It is designed to be used by prospective and current students, prospective and current researchers, and the wider community interested in these issues. The project has been led by the School of Social and Political Science and is hosted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) on behalf of a wider consortium of academics and students.
