Luba Zatsepina-McCreadie wins award
Named Best Undergraduate Tutor in PIR
Luba, a 4th year PhD student, has won PIR's award for best tutoring in 2016-17 for her work across several undergraduate courses. The nominating statement highlights how much effort and care Luba puts into the design and delivery of her tutorials as well as how much she invests in students:
'Luba cares so much about her sutdents, is fully passionate about her work and encourages us to think outside the box and reach our full potential. Her kindness and general greatness extends beyond the classroom, our tutorial group even went for a coffee in Teviot, which is more than I've ever done with a tutor/professor - which really forged a solid connection after our course ended. She is truly great and deserves this award.'
We couldn't have said it better ourselves. Massive congratulations, Luba!!!
