PSA Postgraduate Northern Conference

Welcome to the PSA Northern Postgraduate Conference website. The conference will take place on Friday the 6th of June 2008 and is a chance to road test your skills and ideas in a friendly and supportive environment and to benefit from the vibrant postgraduate research community in Scotland and the North.

Our programme is packed full of events designed to help you swap ideas with other postgraduates and develop your professional skills. Highlights of the day include our plenary speaker Professor Karin Fierke and a career development round table with journal editors, PhD holders working in industry and you and your questions!

Papers and/or panel submissions in all topics of Political Theory, Politics and IR are sought. This year we particularly welcome research on the subjects of gender, nationalism or the EU and critical work on any topic. See our call for papers and the abstracts section for details.
