Meetings
We currently meet on Mondays, 1.0-2.0 in the seminar room, 21 George Square.
Our weekly meetings are the centre of our activity. We present and discuss outlines, proposals, working papers and summary reports. We are more interested in ideas, drafts and plans than finished work. We want to know where a piece of research has come from and where it might go.
We usually circulate papers (often no more than a few pages to serve as introduction and background to discussion) a few days ahead of meetings. We allow ten minutes or so for presentations, and then we talk.
