Nationhood in the Global Era. An Enquiry into Contemporary Political Self.
My main research interests are in Political Philosophy and European intellectual history. My work draws on both continental and Anglophone traditions of thought. I am particularly interested in the interplay between political philosophy and epistemology and my work is intellectually indebted to Michael Oakeshott and Hannah Arendt. My current research is focused in there areas: 1) embedded cosmpolitanism and universalist nationalism, 2) the concept of the 'political' and 3) the modern idea of the self.
